The questions people ask us most often.
Do I need to be home when the crew comes?+
Someone should be there to watch the weighing and receive payment. If that's tricky, tell us in the booking notes and we'll arrange a time or a trusted neighbour.
How much scrap do you need before you'll send a van?+
Roughly a full sack of mixed scrap (about 10 kg), or any single large item like a fridge, washing machine or old bike. Anything smaller can be brought to the yard.
When exactly do I get my money?+
The moment weighing is finished. You choose cash, eSewa, Khalti or a bank transfer, and you'll get a written note of each weight and price.
How far do your vans go?+
Regular routes cover Banepa, Dhulikhel, Panauti, Nala, Sanga, Panchkhal and Namobuddha. For large commercial loads we can also come to Bhaktapur.
Will you take an old motorbike or car battery?+
Yes — both. Bring the bike's bluebook if you have it and we'll explain what paperwork is needed. Batteries are paid by weight.
Is there anything you won't take?+
Broken glass, hospital or chemical waste, and wet kitchen rubbish. Not sure about something? WhatsApp us a photo and we'll tell you straight away.
